BEHIND THE MASK OF BEAUTY
A New Start
Baby I want to talk to you
I want you to know how I feel
I don't want you to question me
Just know what I feel is real
Even though you hurt me
Caused me to look at you in a different way
Don't think I will care less
With you is where I want to stay
You may have caused me pain
But I know you are in pain too
Even though it hurts now
This is something we can work through
People may think I am stupid
They may point and stare
Talking about us behind our back
Saying you don't care
I will reagain your trust
The pain will soon go away
I know we can make this work
I don't care what others say
Those people don't know me
They don't know you
They don't know how we feel
this is something we can get through
I know how much you care
And you are a great man
I know you are hurting too
People just don't understand
Everyone makes mistakes
You learn from what you do
You may have hurt me
But I still want to be with you
People may try and tell me
That you will not change
I know we can get through this
No matter what others say
Right now I may not trust you
Right now it may be real hard
But now we are on a different path
We are off to a new start
