you once loved me...
you once took me to the top
and sent my soul on fire...
you once wrote me poetry
with feathered pen so gently...
you once sang me songs of love
beneath the moon's sweet smiling...
you once held me in your arms
and whispered words of passion...
you once wooed me soft and slow
and took my heart to heaven...
you once sang me soft to sleep
with arms in perfect motion...
you once loved me long ago
before the shadows drifted...
