In Memory
Of losing a friend
I never commend
Nor power to pretend
All were but a dream.
Aching to the core
A treaty I implore
The Almighty I adore
Hears not anymore.
The agony of breathing
Suppressed yet seeking,
Silently, moaning,
Beseeching from suffering.
Lord of the Universe,
The earth had cursed,
Your children abused
Nary of tangible cause.
The surviving creatures
Refuse to hear lectures
Of summarized adventures
From memory of tragic pictures.
