THIRD CUP OF COFFEE

Saturday afternoon
How times pass soon
One's days off simply go
Love each moment let it flow

Now, not a wife to anyone
Except the three I dwell upon
Sweet bride to me, myself, and I
Make loving fun without a guy

Third cup of coffee, easy sunshine
Eastern Oregon skies alight on my mind
Vast as God's love---far reaching
Golden Rule from above---keeps teaching

There is misery with mercy combined
Male and female, both half blind
Coming two and two alike into the ark
As oceans mount Mother Earth in the dark

Spew out tears, God is bawling
Wakeup, there is no fear when faith is calling
Long rain's going to pour until the pain's cried dried
God's felt that kind of thing before when Satan lied.
