This was written after I saw a picture of a baby just like this reaching up to his mothers boyfriend, the only father he ever knew.
A witness saw the baby reach up, the man picked him up, walked to the swimming pool where he held his head under the water till he died and turned and walked away, setting the story that the baby had gotten out and fell into the pool and drowned before they found him.
