Only Touch I Trust
You are so lovely to me
so gentle yet strong
you are the wind in my hair
you are my better half
what I lack
you always seem to make up
you are all things wonderful
you are the only touch I trust
my sweet funny gentlemen
my prince who holds me so carefully
you are so much better compared to the rest
you are my love in this life
and beyond death
when I feel weak
like I can no longer go on
you give me that reason
that fire to get up again
I know with you I never walk alone
you are my angel, my white dove
my hope, and my closest companion
in my thorns I plucked a single rose
it bore your name
and since I met you I have changed
it's all in your way,
your smile that reassures me...
lets me know I am truly loved
from morning to dusk
