BLACK DAY

BLACK DAY

I`ll not hold you if you want to go
My heart would race no more, but go slow,
I would be heartbroken and downcast
`Cause I thought our love would always last.

If you think we have come to an end
I will have a broken heart to mend
No, I can`t hold you against your will
Long empty hours I`d have to fill.

If you`re going then please make it quick
Leave me alone with my wounds to lick
I`ll close my eyes while you slip away
And remember this as a black day.
