I long to write my words for you
My heart is imploring me to try
I pick up this tender feather pen
And, with love, beg it to fly
My hands do shake and tremble so
As I think of words before your eyes
Hoping that each swirl in blue
Will still bring forth your loving sighs
I feel like I have lost my faith
Not in you, but within myself
Remembering how I touched your heart
Deeper and softer than everyone else
So many words have sweetly flowed
Each an expression of the heart, it's true
Yet none have meant as much to me
As my words of love for you..
