A Walk Near The Ocean
A walk near the ocean
Is what I might need right now,
Just to clear my weary mind
And to come up with words, somehow.
Maybe I've written too much
In the past four years,
At times, when I try to write
It just seems to bring me to tears.
I am getting tired
Of talking about this,
Maybe I should pack up and leave
Or maybe I should just quit.
A walk near the ocean
Summer, I can't wait for,
My paper is all crumpled up
And my pen falls to the floor.
