My Heart Melted

My heart melted
When I held you in my arms,
So tiny and fragile
You filled my soul, with your charms.

Born a week ago today
I am happy to finally meet you,
Daddy woke you from your sleep
So I could look into your eyes so blue.

I am happy to hold you in my arms
Such a perfect little girl,
I will love you always little niece
Welcome to the world.

I finally got the chance to meet my newborn niece. She's so adorable.
