Slow Me Down

Slow, slow me down
given time I'd make amends,
for what I have become since I've been away,
grown a map to the roads of my redemption
find the faith that is my religion
You never let me down, read between the lines
You speak so well
yet most of the time it's not known
but You answer my prayers
I found the key to my brand new home

Slow, slow me down
given time I'd find a place,
to wash away the dirt
just can't soak it in all day anymore
the answer is Your name fulfilled
don't need a beer or no pills
I've been drifting but like every other time
God you have saved me
from myself, from my sinful flesh
You just always know how to
slow, slow me down....
