Poor Pinky Toe
My poor pinky toe
Got stepped on last night,
It was by accident
Now, it's filled with fright.
It's bruised on top
As well as underneath,
It can't stand up straight
It can't stand the heat.
The cold water makes it ache
Tries to hide itself,
It's in so much pain, it hurts more
Than banging it on a bookshelf.
I heard it snap
In two different places,
Now, my toe is ashamed
To show its face.
