Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning is here again
I wash down the walls,
Trying to get all done at once
Back and forth down the hall.

I start in the kitchen
And into the livingroom,
Dust off the heaters
Sweep the cobwebs with the broom.

I clean off the doors
Start in on the windows too,
Scrub off the wall behind the stove
Still so much cleaning left to do.

I kneel down to clean the sliding door casing
My legs go to sleep,
I need some help here
I can't get back up on my feet.

My feet are asleep
There's numbness in my legs,
I think they're about to fall off
Should replace them with wooden pegs.

WOW! I can't believe the grime that was in the crevasses of the sliding door.
