 Suicide Is Not The Way
I thank God
I was here last night,
If I wasn't around
You would have commited suicide.

You are my best friend
The love of my life,
I know can be hard
You have to try and fight.

You've lied to me about your back pain
For over a year now,
You have to know, I'm here for you
Taking your own life, I won't allow.

Going against God's law
Doesn't make any sense at all,
Three times, I saved you last night
There was no way, I was going to watch you fall.

I know depression and bills
Weigh on your mind,
But I will always and forever
Stay by your side.

I know the kids don't listen
To what you have to say,
But, I beg of you
Give your life just another day.

Things will get better
This is my promise to you,
I'll always give my shoulder to cry on
And be here, to help you through.
