Bus Sun Tran

As i was waiting for the bus
i soon discovered
the bus comes when it wants to
not when i want a bus
it is under the drivers rule not mine
i can never call it quickly
but i soon  discover
that i am a salmon swimming upstream
leaning to the upper water to catch
the warmth of the sun
avoiding capture
as i swim in the river
the bear tries to paw me
up and out of the river
into its waiting Jaws
all aboard
