So dark was her abode that it blended with the night
Very rarely was she seen as she kept well out of sight
ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.
At the outskirts of the town she lived hidden and alone
Her name was never known but some thought it was Sharon
ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.
"Cat Lady" she was called by the town's kids passing by
She never gave them a glance out the cornor of her eye
ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.
A hundred different cats were seen playing in the yard
Too many to be counted they kept watch and were her guards
ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.
An unpainted wooden barn she converted into her home
Always humming to herself in her hair a silver comb
ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.
The bushy unkept lawn looked abandoned all the time
No one saw her in the day as the cats ran and climbed
ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.
Sometimes late in the night she walked by the tall trees
Pausing now and then to weep and fall upon her knees
ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.ˇ:*¨¨*:ˇ.
There is a mystery not solved about this lady's past
One brave man's attempt to befriend her didn't last
She refused his honest love and he was never seen again
Folks say they see her with the cats hiding from the rain
In the shape of those felines, she's a demon cat...
so they claim
