To let you know you're not alone,
As through life you tarry through!
You think you'll be alone,
All your life long days,
But let me reassure you,
You are going to change your ways.
Things go wrong in life,
It does happens you know,
And it's not always for the better,
As I know you know!
But things change, trust me,
And they will for you too,
Mark my words they will,
Life will improve for you!
We all have sadness in life,
But we have to always be strong,
That helps us get through the bad times,
For to give up is so very wrong.
I know that things can be horrific,
And we feel there is not end,
But Rich, I want you to know,
That in me, you have a friend.
Now I know you know this,
But I wanted to tell you true,
That I'm a good and loyal person,
And I'll support, and help you through!
We all need a shoulder to cry on,
And we all need to unburden our fears,
For they can totally destroy us,
And to recover can take many years.
So Rich, you have to stay positive,
And ride the storm that rages within,
Trust me, you can do it,
And this is when you win!
You think this is the path of your life,
In your heart I know...
That you're feeling totally alone,
And you don't know which way to go.
I want you to let go that thought,
Because you will look back on this time,
And never go down that road again,
You'll walk a path so good and fine.
