Absent Minded

we want to see health care in America

Red white and black t shirts dressed in a silent protest,
thousands of people on main street blocking traffic dressed in bloody bandages
to say we deserve to live in healthy times not dieing in need
paying some fat pig to live what we should be getting naturally
T-day the next protest spelling out the word death backwards
who thought it would go soo far
to see the falling of the singing stars i lead through telepathy
and all of their fitting pieces
you never could put together in your hands
teaching you the puzzle of what we've been saying to you

stand up for yourselves lay down fight fight fight
California Mississippi Colorado
the conspiracy of whoever wins what baseball game
the winning city protest for red white and black silently
and the losing city lies in the streets bandaged again!

Sing along with your martyrs who don't give a crap
the am,erican dream kept at arms length but
here in Canada I'm living it full blast
we don't have terrorists blowing up day cares
because they cant afford their medication
we don't have a perfect world,
but you should really come check us out some summer vacation

so be strong and stand up
i don't understand why you're soo proud and believe your free
your trapped like the Jews in a dictatorship of a wolf
wearing sheep's clothing of a democracy
terrified broken down paranoid you believe everything you read
a tragedy strikes and even though you didn't deserve it
you remain the world bully in the playground
beating kids with the big stick

stand up for your right to be treated for your illnesses
stand up for your right to be taught about the rest of the world in school
stand up for your right to be free to your own opinion of religion without hate
stand up for your equal rights to be straight or gay

black white and red shirts in all the high schools across the biggest land in the world
China is next so don't say a word
and the jail system is a joke anyway
when gangsters go in there
with balloons of drugs in their stomach
to fish in their feces
for balloons of cocaine they swallowed,
time to them is a game and a joke,
so what does it matter if they commit a crime
for shelter and three meals a day when they become rich in the end?

Bandages in the street
no honey its not Halloween
were gonna get health care
and this is t day another day going down in history

never to be forgotten
the world is our stage
never to be forgotten
lets strategise
about the demonstrations we make to give to the next generation
never to be forgotten lets show them our golden age
never to be forgotten
lets go free those sex slaves who don't see us coming!

Minimum wage is not enough to raise a baby let alone catch a cold
the war on drugs isn't really happening when
the cash flow is flowing and it doesn't matter to anyone about the dead souls
ever listen to the radio?
they keep pushing the envelope and no one bothers to cry

these are my tears for you America
don't let this soul mate pass you by
get yourself connected,
spread the word,
the time to make your difference in your world
big or small is upon you once again
so see me looking in
see me hoping you win
see the life I'm living
see the dreams I'm tasting
see the hopes I'm sending
see the gifts I'm wishing

fight for your health care
and don't take no for an answer
and when another country comes upon you
tell them
it is the way
the light
and the holy answer.

Only the rich survive there
afford having a baby
afford the dentist bills
the car assurance the school fees
the gas bills
the electricity bills
the hydro,
the daycare
the groceries
the babysitter
and then you still care give to the disasters
and the needy,
and what do your tax dollars do?
nail you to tragedy and send your 18 year old children fresh out of high school who haven't even experienced life out to war to die!

IN GOD WE TRUST
times have changed much since 1800 BC we just don't bury our slaves alive
