 Cynthia's Home of Many Things

Remembering

It all happened 60 years ago today
On the beaches of Normandy,
The second world war had to be ended
For you and me.

Boats came sailing in
Many men dies that day,
The day they landed
On the beaches of Normandy.

A lot of gentlemen and boys
Lost their lives for you and me,
They did it all for us
So we could be free.
