Be Vigilant
Who will take hold of our fragile soul
Our loving Lord who can make us whole
Or the cursed one who devours
And torments souls that he stole…
Will we follow our merciful Lord
All knowing and wise…
or be misled by the infamous
Father of Lies?
We must be on guard to avoid and beware
Of the wicked one who does not care
But to bait and trap us
in his crafty snare.
Look up and pray
this very day
To our Lord who helps those
Lost and gone astray.
Lamb of God will seek
And carry His weak
Under His arm and protect them
Forever from certain harm.
Rise up and call out
Before it's too late…
To our Redeemer, ruler of all
With holy love can have us enter His gate.
Who will take hold…
And by His grace, save the young and old?
Heavenly Father, please guide us
to the throne of Lord Jesus.

because your adversary the devil,
as a roaring lion, walketh about,
seeking whom he may devour:
