"The Smiling Face Of The Moon" --(time to move on...again)
Late one night
She sat upon a swing
Under the full brightness of the moon.
  I could clearly see
  The silhouette of her face
And the sparkle of her deep blue eyes.
The night brought back memories with a smile
As I touched her for the very first time -- in years.
Not believing what I felt
  Hesitantly, I tried again.
Yes, I knew that emotion
The one that I could never win.
Still as beautiful
As the day we first met
A vision which I surely recall.
She has done so well without me
And grown with wisdom and grace
I have been blessed with a very special friend.
Thankful for the still of darkness on that night
As streaming from my eyes wide open -- were tears.
I never stopped loving her
Ever since my heart knew how.
Now is the time to finally let go
And throw away my crying towel.
