Say Hello To Heaven For Me
Mother say hello to heaven for me
I remeber you in still pics in my head
and sometimes if I listen
I can hear your laughter
it plays in the distance
and sometimes it's my favorite memory
I know you hurt so bad
the last few months
and your soul was tested
but you are home now
no longer alone, no longer an island
Mother say hello to heaven for me
life is so weird
one ends, another begins
soon you can see your new grandbaby
now I know I am sad because you are not here
but I rejoice in the fact
that the cold ground is not your bed
you have risen again
I feel your spirit everywhere
Mother say hello to heaven for me
I never wanted to write
these words down for you
but your candle was blown out
and only these words remain
I love you and mother
