OUR LITTLE JAY
Our beautiful little boy, apple of our eyes,
His birth to us was life's greatest prize;
We learned true joy on the day that he came,
Whenever he's away our home is not the same;
At times he's a riot and can be very bad,
But if he's sick or hurt we are both so sad;
To see his cheerful face we'd walk a mile,
The sound of his little voice makes us smile;
The funniest thing about this little treasure
Who brings to our hearts so much pleasure,
Is that we never planned this little child,
Learning I was pregnant almost drove us wild;
But now that he's here, each day is complete,
Having this baby has made our life so sweet;
One of our best gifts we both have to say,
Is waking every morning to our little Jay.
Our beautiful little boy, apple of our eyes,
His birth to us was life's greatest prize;
We learned true joy on the day that he came,
Whenever he's away our home is not the same;
At times he's a riot and can be very bad,
But if he's sick or hurt we are both so sad;
To see his cheerful face we'd walk a mile,
The sound of his little voice makes us smile;
The funniest thing about this little treasure
Who brings to our hearts so much pleasure,
Is that we never planned this little child,
Learning I was pregnant almost drove us wild;
But now that he's here, each day is complete,
Having this baby has made our life so sweet;
One of our best gifts we both have to say,
Is waking every morning to our little Jay.
