Heart Of The Matter

The House of Silence

The house of silence,
Standing still,
Looking out,
On yonder hill,

Pleasing to,
The naked eye,
Standing proud,
Against the sky,

The house of silence,
Stands alone,
Uninterrupted,
By the phone,

Nor jangled, juddered,
By the noise,
Of wanted children,
Girls and boys,

So loved by one,
Who calls it home,
A silent heart,
Now turned to stone,

Her dreams of love,
And family,
So cruelly taken,
By the sea,

In silent solace,
She lives there,
But seek her company,
If you dare.
