If by chance you've watched the power plays
Which in this world has the ultimate say
By the high and mighty power lords
World leaders reluctant to join in one accord
All wanting to rule their piece of earth
In their very own distingushed ways
No wonder our lives are in such disarray
When wars and bombs are one the first choices displayed
Most of our precious youths are sent away
Dying like innocent rats caught into traps!
You'll see that it simple boils down to this
People of the world are so amiss
Deeply thinking of their craving souls
Abusing the sick, the young and the old
Need I go on to make my point?
Do we need to protest and shout?
In my humble opinion, believe or not
These endless wars have to be stopped!
