Fathoms below the lapping waves,
In lightless caverns and sunken caves;
Darkness moves upon the face of the deep,
Causing hands to tremble and hearts to leap.
Entombed ‘neath the vast and formless sea,
Lurk creatures that wait with savage glee
To renew the ancient, elemental war,
And shake the world to its very core.
In murky depths they patiently abide,
While emotions churn like the restless tide.
Mu and Lemuria felt their might,
And Atlantis drowned in a single night.
Slowly drifting in their dreamless sleep,
These Lords of the vast and watery deep.
Pondering thoughts beyond the ken
Of land bound creatures like mortal men.
Yet the day will come when eyes open wide,
And the most ancient of days will no longer hide.
Lethargy will shatter and worlds will shake
When the Lords of the deep at last awake.
