I don't care what the professionals say,
there is nothing normal about anxiety.
Now that I am a sufferer, too,
I have compassion for each of you.
Anxiety is painful in so many ways.
It makes your head feel like it will explode
while an elephant is standing on your chest,
and someone is squeezing you by the throat.
The pain in your brain makes it hard to think.
The overall condition brings you right to the brink.
Anxiety is not a pretense created by the weak.
On the contrary, it can make the strongest feel meek.
Is this one of the many new malaise of the nineties?
I finally realized that Xanax
was causing the anxiety attacks.
Stopped Xanax and anxiety went away.
Hmmm.
Is it possible that anxiety
is the natural reaction when we are not
doing what we know we should be doing??
