Feeling Old
Such a quiet morning as I awake,
Feeling feeble as my legs shake;
Thinking that I am getting too old,
For doing anything that is too bold.
My belly is getting way too plump,
As my back starts to get a hump;
Energy does not seem to be there,
Not even for climbing a single stair.
I am thinking that it is such a crime,
As my life being stolen through time;
Even walking takes my breath away,
And pain in my legs seems to stay.
What will the future hold for me?
I pray to God for hearing my plea;
In giving me the spiritual potency,
To be able to serve with intensity.
For my desire is to once again feel,
Having the strength with such zeal;
Giving God all by putting my effort,
Through confidence of His comfort.
