Fragmented dreams from earlier days
Fill my sleep with utmost bliss
Childhood seen through sleepy haze
A mothers' scold or healing kiss
The first time remembered on her knee
Recalling the first day at my first school
Boys and girls playing together happily
Kicking an old tin can for a ball
Many the games played of hide and seek
Hopscotch chalked out on a quiet road
Playfully a young girls pigtail I do tweak
Memories through my dreams are oft retold
