 My Desk
As I sit at my desk and write,
Little imperfections come to my sight.
Our lives are so much like that old desk,
Though on the outside we may look our best.

We have all broken God's laws.
Each one of us has our little flaws.
When we confess to Him our sin,
He is faithful to cleanse us from within.

Now we are made perfect in God's sight.
We are strengthened by His power and might.
As we walk in His Spirit all our days,
We can boldly approach Him always.

Yes, we will still make mistakes.
But confession is all it takes
To be made right with God again.
With God on our side, Satan cannot win.

1 John 1:9 (NASB)
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous
to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.

Hebrews 4:16 (ASV)
Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the
throne of grace, that we may receive mercy,
and may find grace to help us in time of need.
