 The Tightrope

An illustration was told to children one day.
We can all learn from it today.
The tightrope is a dangerous circus act.
But listen and see how you would react.

If Jesus were to walk the rope across Niagara Falls,
You may well believe He could do it after all.
Nothing is impossible for Him to do.
He performed many miracles, too.

Add to the risk a wheelbarrow.
Remember, the rope is so narrow.
What if Jesus asked you to get inside?
Would you trust Him to push you to the other side?

Jesus is holding out His hand to you.
Will you trust Him with your life, too?
Your faith may be small, like a mustard seed.
He will meet you at your point of need.

Matthew 17:20 (NIV)
He replied, "Because you have so little faith.
I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small
as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain,
'Move from here to there' and it will move.
Nothing will be impossible for you."
