(¯`'ˇ.¸ Lover's Dance (¯`'ˇ.¸
They appeared graceful dancing on the floor
Champion dancers they had won prizes before
Two bodies in motion entwined as music flowed
Caught up in the dance adrenaline made them bold
In the manner of their dancing and in intimate holds
His body was to her delicate one a comforting mold
She looked magnificent in the red gown she wore
Practice made easy their efforts to put off a show
He felt so proud to be dancing at her side
She harbored emotions very hard to hide
Light as a feather she floated in his arms
A delicate doll he though of her filled with charms
Her body trembled as he pulled her close
Taking her breath away, unsteady on her toes
They danced until the audience had their fill
Until each of their hearts felt that peculiar thrill
Of falling in love in the middle of a beat
Love took its hold and swept them off their feet
