 Hear Our Cries
Around this world in every nation
Different thoughts and dreams
Are pondered and awakened-
To overtake silent screams.

Shattered lives want war to end
Others need an urgent cure.
Children wish for food to be sent...
Some pray for strength to endure.

Imagine that such goals could be met
And we all took part of this mission
Think about the time that is left
To make a difference;
Keep the vision.

Storms increase, as many ignore the frantic cries
Silent screams fill those still afraid
Turmoil spreads while so many are claimed “wise”
Lives are left destitute and-
Without any aid.

Is any nation so wonderful and great
To promote their plan that ignites more hate
My wishes are different
My tears are real-
For all the souls
That will never heal.

Did we help or hurt-
Reach out or pull back
To those in need …
In all of us, may
Almighty God
Plant charity's seed .
