Poetry For Everyday People
Rock Concert For Two
I love to kiss you
in the rain
when the world's
taken cover
walking all the old
alleys, free souls,
we blend magnificently,
old streets, ancient moon,
sax player on the corner
as if the stars had called her,
we stand, listen, my funny valentine,
stay,
fades the moon
fades the sax
fades the world
two candles
in love's darkness.
in the rain
when the world's
taken cover
walking all the old
alleys, free souls,
we blend magnificently,
old streets, ancient moon,
sax player on the corner
as if the stars had called her,
we stand, listen, my funny valentine,
stay,
fades the moon
fades the sax
fades the world
two candles
in love's darkness.
