~It Wasn't~
(Free Style)

Upon certain crossing, I saw you pass
And in my confused state sped the clock
It has been such a very long time
And for me it was not sublime

Time and time again things don't go well
Too many shadows 'round me dispel
So many things that get me mad as hell
And make me hide in this hole now I dwell

Mistakes that were made here and there
Darkness rises its ugly head, fear just flairs
I've seen so many times its vacant coldest stare
And just as well tasted my own bitter tears I swear

Upon so many crossings I've seen you pass
And your reflection and mine shows at last upon in the glass.
