Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

There is no problem quite like love

You came to me with your arms open wide
To receive a hug from I, I couldn't turn you
Down. Your promises may have just been
Words you said to calm me down, and they
Worked. They drove me from that ugly me
That lives, eats, and breathes self-destruction.

I find that when I'm writing, I'm thinking of
You. Yes, you, with your big blue eyes and
Those amazing eyelashes that dazzle me. I
Wasn't lying when I said I loved you, I meant
It deeper than what shows on the surface. And
Someday, I'll open that door and hope, or even
Pray that you'll just waltz right in, with no questions
Asked. Of course, I'd settle for just holding your hand.
