And At The Time I Swore
In all my honesty and sincerity
Looken back on a lifetime of travelen miles~
I wonder sometimes if I tols any at all
Why they'd believe me at all and smile~
There were times Id rather be one who did not care
And be on the very front line of some war~
Than someone who had known love
And back then at the time I swore~
But I do care And have values high
And love Ive had and known over my years~
And being a good and loven soul
I then only end up with my tears~
But I guess God took pitty upon me
And after all of my pain and time~
He gave me a love so true and real
With no mind games being played this time so fine~
Shes inlove with me and Im so inlove its true
We will always love one another so
Till and after our souls sail into the blue~
Oh yes we are both still effected by others
That seem to live to wreck ,destroy and course pain~
But for the first time in my life someones inlove with me
And for true love Ill never hurt again~
But there were times I knew in life
The pain was worse than any in a war~
Ive lost so often all Ive ever had in life
And yes at the time I swore~
