 Dolly

I'll miss you now that you've gone Dolly,
you were always such good fun.
The nights I spent inside you,
you were always a really good ride.

I loved you from the day I first,
saw you standing on the street.
The way your top went up and down,
that was really neat!

We had some moments when you let me down,
I hit you a couple of times.
But as long as the ride was smooth as silk ,
then I really couldn't complain.

Now people out there don't get me wrong,
although Dolly was 22 years old.
She was really quite a mover,
and always lots of fun.

Now I know that you've got the wrong idea,
but I really loved her, true.
You see Dolly was an old VW Campervan,
the best damn machine on the road!
