Spiritually Cool
Let it not be said that I am a fool,
Because I'm truly spiritually cool;
I believe in God as well in Christ,
And the reasons He was sacrificed.
For I know He was nailed on a tree,
To pay for the sins of you and me;
As my Savior in my heart believe,
Sins forgiven as cleansed to relieve.
All that we have to do just confess,
And Jesus will ensure unto us bless;
While He gives us a lease on life,
And eases the burden of our strife.
I am given the hope for an eternity,
In living in the home of the Trinity;
Knowing just what the future holds,
While seeing as God's plan unfolds.
Because of my faith I am not blind,
I am already aware within my mind;
For His Word has given me insight,
With turning the darkness into light.
