A place I can go in secret
A place where there is calm and quiet
A special place designed and designated
To hear thy voice unrestricted ~ unabated
Four chambers of my heart
The place this meditation begins to start
It has been said that "the habit of meditation
Is the basis for all real knowledge"
A place of mind, soul, heart elevation
Without ever entering a college
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
To look to You as my source of reason
Every day more I develop this place
Our very own sanctuary ~ our heavenly space
A place where You and I almost come face to face
Your voice becomes clearer across the channels of my heart ~ frequency wave
As I draw nearer ~ You draw closer
This communication never over
I can continue these thoughts throughout the day
No matter what I am doing ~ I can still hear Your voice ~ the words You say
O let the meditation of my heart
Be pleasing unto You as I allow You to do Your part
This chamber of my heart
Is the place that holds the charge
You are the One who ignites the spark
Bringing light out of the dark
Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Proverbs 24:4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled
with all precious and pleasant riches.
Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
