Many people tell their sins to the priest.
It is good they are confessing, at least.
But a priest is human, not having divine power
To grant forgiveness for you to God at any hour.
God had a plan when man rebelled from within.
A spotless lamb was sacrificed to pay for the sin.
But it had to be repeated and could not fully atone
For the severity of our sin against God alone.
Jesus was the fulfillment of God's perfect plan.
His blood was shed to forgive the sin of man.
He died on the cross once and for all of time.
He willingly gave His life, what love divine.
There is mercy and grace found at the cross.
You will find healing for your soul that is lost.
It does not matter all the terrible things you have done.
He accepts you as you are, the battle is already won.
Maybe, at this moment, God is calling out to you.
You realize you cannot be saved by what you do.
Simply believe in Jesus and the sacrifice for you He made.
Then, you will have eternal life, for the price has been paid.
