This is what I try to instill in those children who are made fun of by other kids. Maybe what the kids who were at Columbine felt. It is a very painful thing.
Each day I cry
I get laughed at
Called names by other kids
They call me fat and ugly
They call me 4 eyes cause I can't see
They laugh when I cry and plea
Please stop doing this to me
Kids make a joke because I can't walk
Call me names and to me won't talk
Push my wheelchair and knock me over
I was in a car accident, it's not my fault
I was born with a skin disease
My body is spotted
My skin peels
They call me a lizard and a snake
My parents do drugs
Got busted and went to jail
Cps took me
Now they ask me for drugs to sell
Everyday children suffer
Names are called
hearts are broken
Lives are broken
Some times these kids are pushed
to a point when they rebel
Columbine an example
Of a society failed
Children failed
By adults who can't see
Words hurt
Words kill
Blood gushes
From hands that
can take no more
Ignore is easy to say
But most children
Don't see it that way
It is too painful
their minds fill with thoughts
They don't believe they will be okay
Life wasn't supposed to be
this way
To all who suffer
I share these words
Hang on tight
to your dreams
You can be what you want to be
Don't let cruelety get in the way
You are beautiful!
Word throwers pave their own road
Alone in the end, they will trod
No one is better then you
You have a golden heart
