Daily Prayer
Flooding from a heavy rain,
Oh how we can feel the pain;
Tsunami clashes on the shore,
Then how the sorrows pour.
Wildfire rages over the land,
Oh how we do not understand;
A quake causes many to die,
Then go to God asking why.
Become involved in a wreck,
Nearly caused a broken neck;
Life troubled after a divorce,
Leading to God in discourse.
Accumulating so much debt,
Payday to payday as we fret;
So many things in your life,
Fills it up with toils and strife.
Why only in times of despair,
We go to the Lord in prayer;
Pray in good times and bad,
Praising Him and remain glad.
