Mistakes made cannot be rewound

I stood there weeping,
Indescribable sorrow in my eyes,
Tears of thorns, screams of horror
Flowing like a river without a bank
On my face are visible signs of pain
Deep gashes...marks of fingernails
Open wide wounds decorated my body
Of broken bottles, instruments of torture
Love gone sore...romance went blurred
Painful scars...marks of a beast
I gave all and more than I had
All my best wasn't good enough
Behind dark clouds are silver line
After the storm comes the sunshine
Abused in love, a lot was lost
Disappointments made me see the
