Princess Gracie
FancyLadyRider Sigs
Gracie the fairy Princess
most beautiful of them all
had a giant ego
that would be her own downfall
She flew around preening
"see my beautiful face"
made all the other fairies
feel so out of place
Soon there'd be a ball
the Prince would choose his bride
living happily ever after
in his Kingdom side by side
The Princess stood before her mirror
saying, "I'm the one he'll choose
and all the ugly fairies
will know how it feels to loose
Her Fairy Godmother was listening
and heard everything she said
she'd teach the Princess a lesson
with a curse upon her head
Every time she spoke of beauty
a change would then take place
when she looked in the mirror
she'd no longer see her face
The Princess flew into the ballroom
said, "am I beautiful or what?"
upon the back of her head
appeared a great big knot
She yelled out to the musicians
my beauty won't go unsung
by the time the words were out
out flopped a great long tongue
She flew to a group of fairies
and of course without fail
said, "don't you think I'm beautiful
all at once she had a tail!
Stamping her foot she cried out,
"say I'm beautiful, don't just stare!"
suddenly she was scratching
and all covered up with hair
She waltzed up to the Queen
saying, "my beauty out shines yours"
then all at once in a puff of smoke
she dropped down on all four's
She ran over to the Prince
not realizing she was a dog
saying, "You may kiss my beauty"
he said, "I'd rather kiss a frog!"
All the fairies were yelling
beauty is skin deep
hearing truthful words for once
made the Princess weep
She ran off to her room
how her little tail did wag
No more about her beauty
this night would she brag
She rushed up to the mirror
a little dog was standing there
"No this can't be Me!!"
she cried out in despair
She heard her Fairy Godmother say
"With bragging you can't win
I hope you've learned your lesson
for true beauty lies within
She scratched behind her ear
with a paw and not a hand
saying, "yes Fairy Godmother
now I understand!"
"I'll be pretty inside"
Gracie said with a plea
all the while, chasing her tail
trying to catch a flea
With a wave of the wand
Gracie stood in all her glory
happily without a tail
that's the end of the story
