I have strength within me true;
And it's always, always in sight!
And whenever I feel sad or down,
I will look to its bright light!
And smile a smile, and remember –
All the strength within me true,
So I will look to the Phoenix –
And realise, that I am the Phoenix too!
For I liken myself to the Phoenix,
Simply because it's tough!
It always succeeds when others will fail!
And will get through any rough!
So the Phoenix to me is something special,
So powerful and so strong,
And empowers me to always –
Stay focused and fight; hard and long!
For as mighty as that Phoenix stands,
Its strength for me –
Will always flow,
Omitting the strength and constitution I need,
And to let the negative go!
And as that Phoenix gains it's strength;
And surpasses every trial,
Just like that Phoenix, and its strength,
I will always go that one last mile!
As the Phoenix soars above the clouds,
As mighty as it stays,
I will forever be as strong as that,
For the rest of my lifelong days!
The Phoenix in me gives me focus,
When I need it to keep me strong,
And as long as that Phoenix lives within me –
Nothing can ever go wrong!
And for every ill and ail I suffer,
And for every path that I tread,
I always look to the Phoenix for strength,
And give thanks that I'm not dead!
For the beautiful Phoenix is strong and true,
And very real for me!
And as long as I keep this belief in my head,
Then my strength you'll always see!
Now the Eagle soars above, way up high;
Just like the Phoenix, it is strong!
And no matter what and no matter when,
They can never err to wrong!
For the strength in them surpasses all,
And supersedes every trial!
And again, just like the Phoenix,
That Eagle will go that one last mile!
And if you look to both the Eagle and Phoenix,
Tell me true what you see?
Do you see what I see, can you feel it,
And can you feel their strength like me?
There is no negative in my life,
And of course I stumble and falter!
For I am human through and through,
And life will always change and alter!
There will always be twists and bends,
And hills so steep to climb,
But know this of me, for what you see,
Is that the power in me is all mine!
And when you look towards the sky,
Way up high, there you will see…
The Eagle and the Phoenix, but look!
That mighty Phoenix is me!
