The Come Back
Well it seems
I have the need
to write, feel, I got
something to say?
today we paid all
our bills, paid so
much, good till September,
bought a few things, I've
had cold beers tonight with
no financial worry, love in
tact, like the moon, always,
another cold beer,
victory cigar, warm
Florida night, South Beach
we're coming for you, I'm
coming back for you, home,
I'm already thinking
about another cold beer,
fountains, arbors, climbing
dreams, underdogs in the winners
circle,
the world should have
put all their money on
us,
