At The End Of The Day!
At the end of the day
When I'm feeling on edge,
All I want to do
Is sit here and veg!
I look at the people
As they all pass,
Sip my coffee
And let it last!
I play sudoku
In the quiet
And let the numbers
Line up right!
An apple muffin
Warm and nice,
I nibble slowly
And taste the spice!
I blank my mind
Of chalk and books,
And all the chatter
And the looks!
I scribble words
Just as they come
And feel the frazzle
Come undone!
