reckon I'll go to the mall, buy myself a shoe or two
go find me fit that makes me look about sixteen
purchase myself about 4 or five diamond rings
so I can be like the young folks and say...bling-bling
go get myself a manicure and pedicure..and a full
body massage that's for sure...
get my hair pressed and let it hang down low
put some sheen to it, to give it that special radiant glow
treat myself to dinner,( table for two)Hmmmmm.....
just in case I'm amused by someone new.
I'll be looking so sweet and divine, while sipping
on the finest of wine
later that evening I just might go dancing
after all I am looking cute sexy and so fine
so what if I'm about to be thirty-eight I look great ,
so don't hate, just appreciate
I'm going to do whatever I feel, on this day
it only comes once a year anyway
after all it is my birthday
