The Longest Distance
Several inches far from me is where a life begins.
A life that's right and full of promise.
A life with virtue, pure and honest.
But inches measure miles for someone just like me.
For I'm a suicidal bane,
For I'm the author of my pain.
Pity never should be shared or brought along on trips.
It stains a bond with friends.
It stains how familys end.
I've never finished what I sought at first I wished to see.
I'm calm against the brutal seas.
I'm calm with all my dreams.
